1. Acceptance

By accessing or using RoastMyWork (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What RoastMyWork Is

RoastMyWork is a peer-feedback platform where users submit work (code, designs, business ideas) and receive anonymous, constructive feedback from the community. “Brutal honesty” is the ethos — but it must remain constructive.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post abusive, hateful, or harassing content.
  • Spam or post irrelevant content.
  • Impersonate other users or third parties.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Feedback must critique the work, not the person. Personal attacks will be removed and may result in account suspension.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. By submitting, you grant RoastMyWork a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display your content on the platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share the content you submit.

5. Free & Pro Accounts

Free accounts may submit and roast within the limits described on the Pricing page. Pro accounts are billed monthly or annually via Polar.sh. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period.

6. Refunds

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@roastmy.work.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. RoastMyWork is not liable for any damages arising from the use of — or inability to use — the Service. Feedback from users is their own opinion and does not constitute professional advice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
